Astronomers have detected a black hole next to the Milky Way galaxy.  He is calling it 'finding a needle in a haystack'.  Scientists have discovered a new black hole © L. Calcada / ESO / REUTERS This black hole has not only been classified as inactive, but it also appears to have formed without the explosion of the death of a star.  On Monday, researchers said that it is different from other known black holes in that "it is an X-ray qubit".
