Several US media reports say that the US government received intelligence in recent weeks that Iran was working on plots to assassinate former president Donald Trump. This revelation comes days after Trump survived an assassination attempt during a rally in Pennsylvania. Also on the show, the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States says that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is facing pressure from his own fighters to end the war in Gaza by agreeing to a ceasefire. - In a tragic incident near a Shia mosque in Muscat, Oman, six people, including a policeman, were killed and 28 others injured during a shooting. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack. - Six Vietnamese nationals, including three with dual American citizenship, were found dead in a luxury suite at Bangkok's Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel. - And a bookseller in Turkiye has won a copyright infringement case against French fashion luxury giant Hermes.
